We have been out in the yard all day weeding and mulching... but, it's worth it! I love our Dogwood trees in the Spring! Did you know that they are
Virginia's State tree?

Welcome Spring
I am out in the garden today... oh so many weeds to pull, but I'm not complaining! It's sunny and 76 degrees!
Spring Cleaning
Spring is usually when you think about ways to refresh your home.
It's time to clean out those closets, kitchen cabinets, and garages.
A fresh coat of paint is an inexpensive way to transform a room
without breaking the bank!
Slipcovers, new accent pillows, and colorful throws are another way to give your room a new look. Take a day to visit local antique shops and thrift stores. You never know what treasures you will find!
Bright Ideas: Fresh Cut Tulips
I am a lover of tulips... You can tell, because I paint them often! Tulips make excellent cut flowers and usually last about a week in a vase. Don't forget to add a little suger to your water to prolong the life of your bouquet.
