The Manchester United star said of his epic kick, “Nine time out of 10 they go over the crossbar. Today it ended up in the top corner. It is instinct. You don’t have time to think about it.” His stunning overhead kick sealed the 2-1 win over Manchester City.

But was this the best goal of his life? Rooney said himself, “I think so.” And many would agree. It was epic indeed. And not just that, some are saying his goal may be the best of the entire season for any football team.
